Dr. Bri Henderson, BVMS MRCVS DACVSMR

Dr. Bri grew up on a horse farm in Southern Ontario where her parents bred, developed and trained Arabian and Half-Arabian Sport horses.

Dr. Bri credits her experience at the University of Edinburgh's R(D)SVS, her early mentorship and the continued support of her Rood and Riddle internship family to her success and love of the job!

Dr. Bri's passion for the health and development of the equine athlete lead her to becoming board certified in Equine Sports Medicine and Injury Rehabilitation.

Sarah Ball,
Office Manager

Sarah has been around horses since she was a little girl and knew that she wanted to have a career in the horse industry. She spent about 13 years working as an Agricultural Assistant at OVC in the Large Animal Clinic. In addition, she has many years of experience as a vet assistant and office administrator in an equine veterinary practice.

Sarah has a special interest in equine reproduction and even has a small breeding operation at her home farm.

She enjoys working in the clinic and chatting with our amazing clients and, when she is not in the office, you will find her on the farm with her horses.

Dr. Hailey Fillion, DVM

Dr. Hailey started riding horses when she was 8 years old. She got her first horse when she was 12 and competed in hunter/jumper and dressage over the years.
Having a career in veterinary medicine was always the dream for Dr. Hailey, quoting
"I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else".

In 2024, Dr. Hailey graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) with honours.
Although she loves all aspects of the job, she has a special interest in equine reproduction and sports medicine.

Lauren Wantje, BSc, RVT, CCRP

Like many other veterinary professionals, Lauren knew from a young age that she was meant to work with animals.

Her journey started at the University of Guelph where she received her degree in Animal Biology, and then she went on to graduate with high honours from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan. She has worked with a number of species over the years, but horses have always been special to her.

Lauren has a passion for injury rehabilitation, osteoarthritis/pain management, and she has a soft spot for our senior patients.

Kendra Moreau, BSc, RVT

Kendra knew from a young age that she wanted to work with horses. It was her love of horses and veterinary medicine that drew her to becoming an equine RVT.

After completing her undergraduate degree in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, she began the next step in her training as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Graduating with high honours from Seneca College in 2013, Kendra continues to build her skill set within the equine world and has a passion for anesthesia, critical care and imaging.

"We strive each day to provide the highest quality of personalized care to our clients. Technology is always advancing giving us the opportunity to provide even more incredible medicine, however, the foundation must always be a solid relationship between the veterinarian, owner/rider, farrier and trainer. This will bring the greatest success."  ~ Dr. Bri
